While the sun and rain can be harsh, our solid-wood construction is built to withstand the South African seasons.
The Standard of Wood
We are frequently asked why we refuse to use pallets or reclaimed wood. The reason is simple. Your garden is an ecosystem. By using only fresh and purposeful timber, we ensure that no hidden chemicals or contaminants enter your soil. For all parts of our structures that directly contact the ground, we use CCA-treated pine to prevent wood rot and ensure the long life of your investment.

My background is rooted in the rigorous woodworking traditions of the German Hermann Lietz schools. This education taught me that functionality and durability are the true measures of any wooden structure.
