The panels’ purpose is to provide the hens in the chicken run below with extra shade and shelter from the rain.

The standard chicken run lengths of the ‘Nkandla XL’ and ‘Tractor’ coops are three segments, and one panel covers one segment. This allows you to decide whether to have one segment covered or two or the entire length, as seen in the image.

The panels are treated with the top marine-grade timber sealer and fastened to the top of the run with galvanised bolts.
